Yesterday was Opening Day in Major League Baseball. Even for sports fans who don’t love baseball, it was great to see all the guys out there playing again.
But, not all players are created equally, of course.
In its second annual poll of Major Leaguers, TheAthletic.com has revealed that the two biggest free agent signings of 2019 --Bryce HarperandManny Machado-- are viewed as the Most Overrated and Dirtiest Player in the game respectively.
Ouch.
Among the “winners” wereMike Trout, who was named Most Intimidating Hitter,Max Scherzer, named Most Intimidating Pitcher, andAnthony Rendon, who Major Leaguers thought was the Most Underrated Player. (The Athletic)
